Cíle předmětu
Students will learn the importance of policy practice in the social work profession. The class will study the history of U.S. social welfare policy, explore the role of values in policy development, learn the skills of policy analysis, and develop skills to affect policy change. Skills/Gained Competencies: Students will learn how to analyze both existing and proposed welfare policy and will learn how to engage in policy practice from an American perspective.
